I'm a 24 year old 2009 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a BA in Communications. USM is where I met Terry, the love of my life who has forever changed the path that my life will take. Terry and I recently purchased our first home in which we and our beautiful dogs (Chance and Liza) will be beginning a new chapter in our lives together! We are new to being grown ups and are learning about life as we live it. We confront every challenge head on and live the good moments to the fullest!

Terry Leaves for the Fire Academy


I knew that after a great weekend spent with friends the time would come for Terry to leave me for five whole days to go the the fire academy in Jackson, MS. Well that time has now come and gone as I sit here at home with all of my chores completed and wonder what to do next?! This is the first week of six and I'm already bored and lonely without my Terry here to keep me company. My puppies are great but they don't speak English! Too bad! This is going to be a loooong week! At least I won't be complaining about needing "me time" for a while!
-Life Lesson #1: Enjoy your time alone because it will be sooner than later that you have no "me time" at all.

    Life lesson #1- Learn to view time alone as a positive...it won't last forever and I'm sure I'll miss this "me time" sooner than later!
